The first semifinal is finally here, and I’m backing France 🇫🇷 to edge past Spain in what should be one of the best matches of the tournament.
Spain have controlled games with their technical football and possession, but France have looked incredibly dangerous whenever they’ve had space to attack. With Mbappé leading the line and plenty of pace on the wings, I think France have the tools to punish Spain’s high defensive line. Recent previews also point to France’s attacking efficiency as one of the biggest factors heading into this clash.
My prediction: 🇫🇷 France 2-1 Spain
It won’t be easy, but I believe France will find the decisive goal late in the match and book their place in the World Cup Final.
