Iran says the Strait of Hormuz is still closed; both US and Brent crude rise more than 3.3%

BlockBeats message. On July 13, according to Iranian television, Iran said that, due to the U.S. military violating the memorandum of understanding, the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. The purpose of closing the Strait of Hormuz is to establish Iran’s sovereignty over the strait in accordance with the Islamabad memorandum of understanding.

At present, international crude oil prices are all on an upward trend, and both U.S. and Brent crude are up by more than 3.3%.
