We in web3 think web2 folks are missing out

But honestly they are living a better life than most of us
And I say this with my full chest
These people go to work, come home, eat dinner, watch a movie and sleep for 8 hours straight
They don't know what it feels like to wake up at 3AM because you had a dream your wallet got drained
They've never experienced the pain of watching $10,000 disappear because you clicked the wrong link
Their money sits in a bank account. It's insured. If anything goes wrong they call a number and someone fixes it
Our money sits behind 12 words written on a piece of paper. If we lose that paper nobody on this earth can help us
They get their salary every month without praying for it
Without checking if it's still there. Without worrying that someone in another country might steal it while they sleep
We can't even go on vacation without checking CT in the hotel bathroom
The craziest part? They've never heard the words rug pull, seed phrase, liquidation, or sandwich attack
And they're doing just fine
Meanwhile we know all these words because they've happened to us personally
We call them normies. We say they're not early. We think we're ahead
But they have peace of mind. They have sleep. They have weekends
We have anxiety, screen addiction, and a portfolio that changes our mood every 4 hours
I'm not saying leave crypto. I'm in this space for a reason and so are you
But let's stop pretending we have it all figured out while web2 folks are "missing out"
Some of them are living better than most of us right now
The difference is we're betting that one day the sacrifice will be worth it
