Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs: The Memorandum of Understanding with the United States has entered a “crisis” phase

Golden Finance reported that on July 13 local time, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei said that the memorandum of understanding with the United States has undoubtedly entered a crisis stage. Baghaei said that as long as the US side continues to violate its commitments, Iran will not comply with the memorandum of understanding. Baghaei also said that during discussions in Muscat with Oman, Iran only held consultations regarding the issue of the Strait of Hormuz and had no plans to discuss other topics. Baghaei said that Iran is negotiating with Oman to establish a mechanism to ensure the safe passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. However, this goal could not be achieved due to the pressure on Oman. (CCTV News)
