Mars Finance News: On July 13, Japanese convenience store operator Lawson plans to test paying with yen-denominated stablecoins at its Lawson Takanawa Gateway City store in Tokyo in August. HashPort has signed an agreement to launch a pilot with Lawson and KDDI. In the initial phase, it supports USDC, USDT, and the yen-denominated stablecoin JPYC on the Solana and Polygon networks. Supported wallet: MetaMask. Merchant payment fee rate: 0.98%.
