This week, Chinese methanol sample-producing enterprises’ inventories were 391.7k tons, up 1.06 million tons from the previous week.

As of July 8, 2026, China’s methanol sample producers’ inventories were 391.7k tons, up 10.6k tons from the previous period, a 2.78% increase quarter-over-quarter; the sample enterprises’ orders awaiting shipment were 218.9k tons, up 47k tons from the previous period, a 27.34% increase quarter-over-quarter. Total methanol port inventory in China was 446.7k tons, down 46.5k tons from the previous data. Of this, inventories fell by 65.2k tons in East China due to destocking; inventories rose by 18.7k tons in South China due to stock buildup. (Lange Zhong Information)
