China’s polypropylene producers’ inventory is 405.7k tons, down 17.5k tons from last week

As of July 8, 2026, China’s polypropylene producers had inventories of 4.057 million tons, down 175,000 tons from the previous period, a month-over-month decrease of 4.14%. Downstream industry profits have seen a slight recovery, and some companies have a certain need to replenish inventory; therefore, producers’ inventories fell on a month-over-month basis this week. The inventories of sample polypropylene traders in China decreased by 0.911 million tons from the previous period, a decline of 11.27%. This week, affected by geopolitical factors, market prices rebounded. Traders seized the opportunity to reduce inventories, and the inventories of the sample enterprises dropped significantly.
