Bank of America: The memory market may see a super-cycle, with DRAM revenue expected to more than triple in 2026
BlockBeats report: On July 13, a Bank of America research note dated July 11 said the ASP-driven supercycle in the global memory industry is still ongoing, and it expects global DRAM revenue in 2026 to grow year over year by 325% to $568.8B.
The research note expects NAND revenue in the same period to grow 299% year over year to $323.1 billion; combined DRAM and NAND revenue will reach $891.8 billion, up 315% from 2025. By 2027, the combined revenue of the two product categories may further rise to $1.25 trillion.
Bank of America said this round of growth is mainly driven by a price rebound, not just shipment growth. The bank expects 2026 DRAM average selling prices to rise 249% year over year, and NAND average selling prices to increase 238%.
