Insurance is the most complex form of finance. I’m most afraid of my family asking me about insurance issues—especially when relatives try to sell insurance.

This stuff is too brain-melting, especially return-based policies. Even if I figure it out myself, I can’t make them understand it.
Later, I changed my strategy directly: I came up with a better “insurance,” so that my parents put their money with me, then I set up a bank card with monthly automatic transfers—solving the problem once and for all.
In reality, most people in this world don’t even spend money, let alone do investing.
