Golden Finance reported that on July 13, Michael, Chief Business Officer of Token Pocket, said on the X platform that the mnemonic phrase of Robinhood founder Vlad Tenev was leaked during his livestream. After the hacker obtained control of the address, they used that address and its associated addresses to buy $1 tokens. Several thousand people then followed suit, and the token’s market value rapidly rose from about $500,000 to $14,000,000. Afterwards, the price crashed, and the trading volume reached approximately $20 million in 2 hours. After the related addresses were frozen, the hacker switched to BNB Chain, issued new tokens using that address and its associated addresses, and conducted buying and selling operations, ultimately dumping the tokens to cash out.
