GPT-5.6 Sol tops the single-round front-end leaderboard, ahead of GPT-5.5 by 18 places
According to Beating monitoring, Design Arena has released the results of the Frontend Design leaderboard.
GPT-5.6 Sol ranks first with 1,353 Elo, slightly above GLM 5.2’s 1,351. Claude Fable 5 takes third place with 1,345.
This top spot is on the “Non-Agent” leaderboard. The model cannot call search, terminal, or file editing tools, nor does it have the opportunity for multiple rounds of revisions. It has to read the prompt and then generate a complete single-file HTML webpage in one go. The final outcome is then compared pairwise by real users.
GPT-5.6 Sol is up 60 Elo versus GPT-5.5, leading the rankings by 18 places. Design Arena also said it is the fastest among models with comparable performance.
