Abstract generation in progress
On July 8, my country’s largest-lifting-capacity fully revolving semi-submersible heavy-lift vessel, the “Si Hang Yong Sheng” (four-hang-yong-sheng), was officially delivered in Jiangmen, Guangdong. It is a non-self-propelled semi-submersible barge that combines lifting and ocean transportation functions. The ship is 110 meters long, 43.8 meters wide, 8 meters deep, and has a cargo area of 4,800 square meters—equivalent to the area of an entire storage zone on one floor of a large logistics center. A massive fully revolving luffing crane is installed at the stern. The crane boom is 149 meters long, and its maximum lifting height reaches 172.5 meters—equivalent to precisely “grabbing” cargo from the height of more than 50 floors. When lifting with the fixed stern crane, the vessel can lift up to 2,200 tons of cargo at once—equivalent to lifting 1,500 family cars in a single operation. It is currently the fully revolving semi-submersible heavy-lift vessel with the highest lifting capacity in China. (CCTV News)
