East China PTA prices rise

In the East China market, PTA spot prices are being negotiated around 5,880. For July main-port delivery, the 09 contract is at a premium of 240–245, while the offer premium is around 230. With geopolitical risks intensifying, cost-driven factors dominate; the absolute prices rose in the morning. The spot basis loosened, and there was rigid demand for purchases and replenishment on dips, while market negotiations were generally normal. (Unit: yuan/ton) (Lopsun Information)
