Abstract generation in progress
Odaily Planet Daily reports that the Digital RMB operation and management center announced that Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of Communications, Postal Savings Bank of China, and Industrial Bank digital RMB wallets have supported the App offline payment code feature. Going forward, it will be gradually expanded to more operating institutions. The Digital RMB App offline payment code feature means that in environments with no network or weak network, users can still use the Digital RMB App to generate payment codes, and merchants can complete payment by scanning the code. In situations where the device cannot connect to the network, such as network outages or weak signals, the system will automatically switch to generate an offline payment code without the user needing to manually configure or perform any extra operations—one click is all it takes to display the payment code. When users use the Digital RMB App offline code, they should ensure that the small-amount contactless and password-free feature has already been enabled in advance; enabling “top up as you use” in advance allows payments to be completed when the balance is insufficient.
