Coin World News: Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse revealed that, due to a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against the company, Ripple had considered shutting down the business and distributing its XRP holdings to shareholders. Garlinghouse said the SEC’s lawsuit exposed the company to risk, which led them to almost decide to end operations.
