LEAP East｜More than 30 park zones host innovation and technology enterprises at the exhibition, with hopes to foster cross-border industrial collaboration

LEAP East 2026 will be held for three consecutive days (from the 8th to the 10th) at the convention and exhibition center. Among them, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) will also take part together with more than 30 park innovation and technology (I&T) companies, and more than 20 management-level executives and representatives from park companies will share in keynote speeches and forums.

Tech exhibition｜The inaugural LEAP East opens in full swing tomorrow; brings together over 320 speakers and 450 exhibitors

This edition, HKSTP’s exhibition area theme is “Gateway to the NEXT.” It brings together 23 park startups and technology companies, offering innovative solutions across four major areas: life and health technology; green technology and sustainable development; smart cities and urban technology; as well as artificial intelligence, data, and robotics.

HKSTP said the exhibition highlights include surgical robots, electric vehicle rapid battery-swapping systems, an AI and digital twin city management platform, and AI-driven regulatory technology solutions, addressing the Middle East market’s practical needs such as precision and automated healthcare, sustainable development infrastructure, smart city management, and financial compliance technology.

Through LEAP East, HKSTP expects to facilitate more cross-border industry cooperation and strategic business matching, helping technology companies expand their market footprint in the Middle East and across Asia. Huang Bingxiu, Chief Executive Officer of HKSTP, said: “In the past few years, HKSTP has led park companies into the Middle East one after another. By using exhibitions, investment matching, strategic partnerships, and market expansion, we have brought Hong Kong’s research and development achievements to the world.” He believes HKSTP will continue to play the role of “Ecosystem Orchestrator” to drive the development of I&T in Hong Kong.
