Baltic Index | BDI Reclaims 2,600 Points, Eyes 2,700 Points; BDTI Tests 1,800 Points Support

The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) has returned above 2,600 points, with further upside toward 2,700 points. The Baltic Exchange’s Baltic Dirty Oil Freight Index (BDTI) is testing the 1,800-point support level. The latest issue of the Shanghai Export Containerized Freight Index (SCFI) (June 26) has been released, showing a continuous 9-week increase: the index reached 3,239.64 points, up 3.8% week-on-week, as the four major shipping routes continue to strengthen.
