Crypto news from the Coin World: Lawson will launch a JPYC payment pilot at its Tokyo Gateway City store in early August, in cooperation with Hashport, enabling payments via mobile phone electronic wallets. This will be Japan’s first test of linking stablecoin payments with a POS system. Lawson will use the trial to verify system integration stability and payment processing time to decide whether to fully roll it out.
