Stock ‏$TE

Unusual momentum in the stock from investment institutions for the second quarter in a row!

During Q1 2026:
Renaissance Fund increased its stake by 232%
Two Sigma Fund increased its stake by 221%
BlackRock Fund increased its stake by 42%
Situational Awareness Fund entered with 10 million shares (~$44 million)

The company ‏$TE , which most people don’t know, was previously named FREYR, and is now considered a U.S. manufacturer of solar panels and solar cells based in Texas. It’s building a fully U.S. solar supply chain away from China, and is currently expanding into battery energy storage

In Q1 2026, it recorded the company’s first net profit in its history, with revenues of $177.6 million (+232% year-over-year), exceeding analysts’ expectations by 61%

But what you should know is that ‏@FuzzyPandaShort announced a short position on the stock and published two reports accusing management of misleading investors (leaked invoices for buying +$65 million of cells from a Chinese company in the same quarter in which management said it had stopped purchasing from it, plus questioning $41.4 million in recorded tax exemptions)

And the most important question here: why are institutions buying massive quantities in the company? Institutional ownership in the company exceeded 70%
