Golden Finance reports that, according to Coinglass data, Coinbase’s Bitcoin premium index has been in a negative premium range for 55 consecutive days (from May 19 to now), with the latest value at -0.0072%. Previously, this index had been in a negative premium range for 40 consecutive days from January 16 to February 24 this year, setting the longest “continuous negative” streak since the index was launched, exceeding the roughly 30 days of consecutive negative premiums during the “1011 crash” period. Historical data shows that long-term negative premiums often coincide with U.S. institutional capital exiting the market, so short-term pullback pressure should be watched for.
