UN Representative to Lebanon Meets With Iran’s Foreign Minister

Crypto news from BiiNews: United Nations representative in Lebanon, Jean Arno, met Iran’s Foreign Minister Alaragchi in Tehran to hold consultations on national affairs. Arno assessed Lebanon’s current situation and the efforts the United Nations is making to consolidate the ceasefire and end the regional war, and hoped that by implementing the U.S.-Iran ceasefire understanding memorandum and strengthening cooperation among regional countries, durable peace and security can be achieved in the region, including Lebanon. Alaragchi strongly condemned the United States’ illegal attacks on Iran, its violations of the Hormuz arrangement, and Israel’s ongoing military aggression and terrorist activities against Lebanon. He said the United States should be held responsible for the dangerous consequences of the escalation of tensions, and emphasized that the United Nations should take a clear and firm position in response to the United States’ acts of aggression. Alaragchi also reiterated Iran’s comprehensive support for the Lebanese people, as well as their territorial integrity and national sovereignty, emphasizing that Iran will continue to work toward ending Israel’s aggression and occupation of Lebanon.
