Crypto news: Mohammed Eslam i, a senior researcher at the University of Tehran, said that, under Article 5 of the memorandum of understanding, the United States has accepted Iran’s arrangement for joint management of the Strait of Hormuz with neighboring countries. He said Iran’s position on the strait is “very clear,” namely to advance a “new management” model, and stressed that “Iran does not want to block the Strait of Hormuz.” Eslami revealed that Tehran has engaged with the United States, Oman, and some European countries regarding this new framework, and if the U.S. side has objections to its interpretation of Article 5 of the memorandum, it should hold consultations with Iran.

Iran’s stance this time is quite interesting—it’s both tough and leaves room for flexibility.
