BlockBeats report: On July 13, US officials said that the US military carried out several strikes about an hour earlier on missile and air defense systems at several locations around the Strait of Hormuz, as well as on small boats of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. An official from Qeshm Island confirmed that local time on Sunday afternoon, the enemy fired a total of 10 to 11 missiles at Qeshm Island. All targets hit were military facilities, and the attack caused no casualties.

Earlier, Iran said it carried out an attack on a US missile launch base in Kuwait. Facilities housing ATACMS missile systems at the US military base in Kuwait were hit, and thick smoke rose at the scene.

Meanwhile, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), Israeli artillery carried out more shelling in southern Lebanon. Two Israeli shells hit the town of Kfar Taybunut in the Nabatieh district in southern Lebanon. The statement also added that the attack originated from positions of Israeli forces in the occupied border area. In addition, Israel shelled the town of Zau’ta al-Sharkiya near Meifadun.
