BlockBeats, July 12: Solana’s official account today responded to BlockBeats regarding the phenomenon of “projects jumping ship to Robinhood.” It said that most projects’ “announcements” were joke-like in nature. The incident began after the prediction market platform world recently “announced” that it would migrate to the Robinhood Chain. After verification, the tweet was actually a prank by the project team.

Because the “event” followed recent market hot topics, once the tweet was posted it garnered massive traffic, sparking heated discussion in the community, which in turn prompted projects such as pump.fun and GMTrade to follow suit. But in fact, the above projects had no real migration plans. GMTrade and other projects have expressed their “loyalty” to Solana in their tweet replies: Once Solana, always Solana.

It is worth noting that despite facing competition from the later entrant Robinhood Chain, Solana still maintains an absolute leading advantage in most metrics. Among them, Solana’s DEX trading volume in the past 24 hours was $1.13B, and its weekly trading volume was $13.43B, both ranking first across the entire web.
