A bit about TON, now already Gram.

$GRAM
The story of TON (The Open Network) began in 2018 as Telegram Open Network (TON). It recognized Gram tokens as securities without proper registration. After long legal disputes, Pavel Durov announced the project’s official closure and returned part of the investors’ funds.

The original code and the ton org domain were transferred to an independent community of developers, which later formed the TON Foundation organization. The network was renamed The Open Network, and the native coin was named Toncoin. Thanks to seamless integration with the messenger, the network transformed into a global Web3 ecosystem with hundreds of decentralized applications, bots, and mini-games.

On June 15, 2026, the native token of the The Open Network blockchain was officially renamed from Toncoin (TON) to Gram. The rebranding was initiated by Telegram founder Pavel Durov.
A return to the original concept and the project’s first whitepaper from 2018, when Pavel Durov planned to launch the token specifically under that name.

If you had invested $1,000 in the middle of summer 2021, the average cryptocurrency price was about $1.35, which equals 740 tokens.

On June 14, 2024, the coin’s price reached a peak of $8.24. $1,000 turned into $6,100.

In mid-2026, the token’s price is trading in the range of $1.60 - $1.70. Then 740 tokens are worth about $1,200.
