In a report by Golden Finance, Rear Admiral Rezaei, an adviser to the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, said: “We will protect the Strait of Hormuz. Because this strategic passage is one of the core elements of our country’s deterrence capability, it plays a decisive role in safeguarding national security and national interests. The Strait of Hormuz plays a strategic deterrent role. Iran will rely on its own defensive capabilities and national strength to uphold national interests and security.”
