This short position finally paid off. The moment $CHZ was pushed down from the highs, many people were still waiting for a pullback to sell for the next short, but the order book already looked off.

At the time, I wasn’t watching just one bearish candle—I was watching CHZ above where it kept trying to break higher but couldn’t move, with momentum/volume coming out, yet the price still wasn’t pushed up. That’s the key. After entering the short at 0.03382, there were also pullbacks to wash people out in the middle, but each time the pullback got slammed back down. That shows the supply above simply wasn’t willing to give way.

Now the price is at 0.01722, and the profit has reached +2366.6%. This round of downside gains doesn’t come from stubbornly holding—it comes from getting the timing right. After the market’s downside space has been released, brothers with heavier positions can handle it in batches using an 80/20 split: lock in most of the profits first, and then keep the remaining smaller position with a protective stop to look for further extension.

Don’t get excited and chase shorts just because it’s fallen—by then, the most comfortable entry area has already moved. If you miss it, don’t chase; wait for the next more comfortable spot.
