Brothers, did you all sleep well last night?

I didn’t.
At 2:59 a.m., the alarm went off. I got up to watch Argentina take on Switzerland; in the first 10 minutes, Messi got a corner assist, McAllister nudged it with his head—1-0!
I was fully awake in that moment, thinking this was稳了, feeling great, shutting the stream off, and immediately going to sleep. In my dream, it was all about cashing in, that 收米 vibe.
So what happened?
I woke up to chaos. Regular time ended 1-1—same old taste again, the familiar way of getting drawn level, equalized, or having it flipped.
At the World Cup, I might really be an anti-pick: whoever I back, they go and mess around for me.
The England match too—after the regular-time draw, my blood pressure was through the roof.
First, the top half: France vs Spain, 3:00 a.m. on July 15
Both teams are like this: one is ranked world No. 1, the other world No. 3.
France beat Morocco 2-0 in the quarterfinals, with Mbappé and Dembélé scoring one each.
Spain, on their side, finished Belgium with a 2-1 killer, and Mеriño scored the winner with a follow-up shot in the 88th minute. The total squad value adds up to €2.7 billion—calling it a “pre-played final” doesn’t feel too exaggerated.
But there’s one data point that’s pretty interesting—
France have lost their most recent two semifinals in official matches, and both times they lost to Spain.
2024 Euro: 1-2
2025 Nations League: 4-5
Call it a curse, or call it psychological shadow—whatever, it’s basically that kind of mystical thing.
Next, the bottom half: England vs Argentina, 3:00 a.m. on July 16
This one doesn’t need me to say much, right?
It’s the most full of grudges and drama matchup in World Cup history—no question.
England overturned Norway 2-1 in extra time. Bellingham scored twice—this tournament he’s already netted 6 goals.
Argentina was even more intense: regular time was forced to 1-1 by Switzerland, and then in extra time they scored twice in a row to win 3-1.
But did you notice something?
In the four teams, three are European teams; only Argentina is from South America. And Messi just crowned himself World Cup top scorer + top assist man—two kings in one. Does that script feel a bit too perfect?
Perfect enough to make you not believe it.
Back to the prediction thing—
With the World Cup at this point, the four semifinalists are all tough opponents.
France, Spain, England, Argentina—whoever wins it wouldn’t be surprising, and whoever gets eliminated could happen too.
Any single match could go to extra time, or even to penalties.
My advice: don’t go All in, don’t get carried away, and don’t treat emotions as logic. Who do you think will make the final? See you in the comments—
① France
② Spain
③ England
④ Argentina
