FIFA President: Expanding to 64 teams is still being discussed; every country should have a dream of participating in the World Cup

Recently, FIFA President Gianni Infantino was interviewed. Infantino said that the format with 48 participating teams has been a huge success: “Every team played at a high level. Teams from all major confederations scored goals and at least earned 1 point. In Africa, 9 teams reached the knockout stage. In the last World Cup, Africa had only 5 teams participating.
