Many people don’t understand what the Nasdaq 100 really is. It’s not always fixed as 100 companies; it’s a collection of the world’s strongest technology enterprises. The larger the market cap, the higher the weight; companies that perform poorly over time will be adjusted out, and new outstanding companies will be added. A decade ago, Apple had a higher weight—today, Nvidia has become one of the core components. So as long as global technology continues to advance, in the long run, the Nasdaq 100 cannot fall.
