Deep Tide TechFlow update: On July 12, crypto payment company MoonPay posted on X saying its “AI intern program” test failed and still needs further optimization. It has already paused the related tests and “sent them back for repairs.”
It’s understood that this incident was triggered by a prior test of MoonPay’s “AI Intern V1.0.” A tweet about the death of influencer hippo MooDeng drew market attention, but MooDeng is actually doing well—“still chubby, very happy, and in excellent health.” MoonPay apologized for any false report and market concerns that may have been caused, and said this event showed that the AI agent project still has issues that need to be improved before a formal launch.
