There’s a most stupid way to trade crypto. A lot of people look down on it, but I’ve walked step by step to where I am today with it.

8 years ago, I got divorced and left with nothing, taking on a mountain of debt and entering the crypto market. Back then there were no resources and no shortcuts—I could only rely on my own research into the market and reviewing trades.
From losses to slowly becoming stable, then to paying off my debts and accumulating assets, what I’ve stuck with all along is this simple trading logic.
No chasing hype, no gambling on sudden huge pumps—only disciplined trading with rules.
This method is actually just four steps:
1. Choose the coin first
Open the daily chart and only look at the daily timeframe.
Prefer coins with a MACD golden cross, and the golden cross should be above the 0 axis.
Coins with an upward trend have a higher win rate.
2. Watch one moving average
Don’t look at too many indicators—just focus on one daily moving average.
If price is above the line, keep holding.
If it breaks below the moving average, exit in time.
3. Buy and take profit
When the coin price breaks above the daily moving average, and the trading volume also expands, look for a buying opportunity.
During the uptrend, take profit in batches:
When the gain is around 40%, cut 1/3 of the position to lock in profit.
When the gain is around 80%, cut another 1/3.
Let the remaining position ride the profit, and exit everything once price breaks below the daily moving average.
4. Strictly follow discipline
The most important point:
What you use as the buy trigger, you must follow as the sell rule.
If the next day it suddenly breaks below the daily moving average, don’t fantasize about a rebound and don’t hold on stubbornly.
Get out first, then wait for it to reclaim the moving average before rebuilding your setup.
The market always has opportunities—protecting your principal is the real foundation of long-term profitability.
