Iran claims it struck “violating vessels” again and carried out an attack on the Qatari U.S. military base.

Golden Finance News reported that on July 12, the Public Relations Department of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement at local time on the 12th, saying that in response to the U.S. military’s continued attacks on Iran’s armed forces targeting coastal bases, Iran carried out an attack in the Strait of Hormuz against the second “violating vessel” and caused it to stop sailing. The statement said that during the second phase of the retaliatory operation, Iran used ballistic missiles to strike the U.S. military Udeed Air Base in Qatar. The statement said that the targets of this attack included the base’s fighter aircraft maintenance support center and its command-and-control center.
