BlockBeats News, July 12, the U.S. military said it has completed the third round of military strikes against Iran this week. This time, the U.S. military deployed land-based and carrier-based fighter jets, drones, and naval vessels, using precision munitions to strike about 140 Iranian military targets.

The strike targets include Iranian missile and drone bases, naval capability facilities, ammunition storage facilities, communications networks, and coastal monitoring sites. Central Command said that since the beginning of this week, it has累计 struck more than 300 targets in accordance with instructions.

Central Command also specifically emphasized that commercial vessels are still transiting through the Strait of Hormuz, an international maritime corridor, implying that despite the ongoing escalation of the military conflict, this critical energy transport route has not been fully disrupted.

This is the U.S. military’s third large-scale military operation against Iran this week, following earlier this week strikes against about 90 targets along Iran’s coast and 170 military targets. It shows that U.S.-Iran military confrontation is still rapidly escalating, and that it has expanded from conflicts around the strait to a wider range of Iranian military facilities.
