Wu Says has learned that Intersect’s weekly update shows that the Cardano van Rossem hard fork is only 1 vote away from approval by the Constitution Committee (CC). If it is approved at the epoch boundary on July 13, it is expected to be executed on July 18. Intersect says that, currently, all readiness metrics required for approval have been met: in Epoch 642, 92% of blocks have been generated by node version 11; for on-chain voting, the support rate of delegated representatives (DRep) is 75.36%, and the support rate of stake pool operators (SPO) is 52.43%, both of which have reached the threshold. The Constitution Committee currently has it confirmed as constitutional with 4 votes, and still needs 5 votes to pass.

If the van Rossem hard fork is successfully executed on the 18th, Cardano can finally catch a breath.

75% DRep support looks quite solid, but SPO’s 52% is a bit worrying.
