Hong Kong stocks’ semiconductor listing’s first trading day opened up nearly 8%

China’s basic semiconductor stock listing on the Hong Kong stock market opened up 7.91% on its first day, now trading at 34.12 yuan; the issue price of the stock was 31.62 yuan. Shenzhen Basic Semiconductor Co., Ltd. was established on June 07, 2016. The company is an enterprise in China’s third-generation semiconductor power devices industry, focusing on the R&D, manufacturing and sales of silicon carbide power devices. Confirmed by Frost & Sullivan, the company is the only company in China that integrates silicon carbide chip design, wafer manufacturing, module packaging, as well as gate driver design and testing capabilities. The company is one of the early domestic companies that have begun large-scale production and delivery of silicon carbide products for use in new energy vehicles, and new energy vehicles are the largest terminal application market for silicon carbide semiconductors. Silicon carbide is a leading third-generation semiconductor material with excellent performance, making it a key material for future development in the power device industry.
