Golden Finance reported that on July 12, US Eastern Time on Friday evening (July 10), SK hynix CEO Kwak Noh-jung said to the outside world that 2027 will become the tightest-supply year in the history of the storage industry. “Now customers are coming to SK hynix to seek long-term supply agreements. Demand continues to grow, while our capacity is constrained. Although we are doing everything we can to expand capacity, even after 2030, customer demand may still be higher than the company’s supply capacity.” He said. However, domestic industrial investment figures who have previously had contact with Korean storage manufacturers said that besides their own development, overseas major storage company executives are also paying close attention to the expansion progress of Chinese storage manufacturers. China’s “two storage” players (CXMT and Yangtze Memory) may become the biggest long-term variables in the future storage market. (Securities Times)
