The situation in the Middle East deteriorated rapidly, and air defense systems in multiple countries were activated at the same time
BlockBeats news: On July 12, the situation in the Middle East deteriorated sharply within a short period of time. Gulf countries and others in the region successively sounded alarms and activated air defense systems:
· Bahrain’s Ministry of the Interior announced that an air defense alert was sounded within Bahrain.
· According to Iran’s Tasnim news agency and Fars News, Jordan’s air defense system has been activated.
· Fars News, citing Arab sources, reported that two explosions were heard in Kuwait.
· The UAE National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority said the country’s air defense system is responding to a missile threat.
· Witnesses said that explosions were heard in Doha, the capital of Qatar, and the Qatari government has sent safety alerts to people’s mobile phones.
· The UAE Ministry of Defense confirmed that its air defense system is intercepting missiles and drones coming from Iran.
Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, and several other Gulf and neighboring countries have entered states of emergency one after another, indicating that the scope of the conflict has further expanded from Iran’s territory and the Strait of Hormuz to the entire Gulf region.
