08:49 【Iranian official says the US attack on Iran “will not go unanswered”】According to Al Jazeera, Ali Safari, an advisor to Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson. He said the US strikes “will not go unanswered” and accused the US of failing to fulfill its commitments in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on June 16. Safari insisted that the MoU assigns Iran responsibility for the “future arrangements” for the Strait of Hormuz and must be negotiated with Oman and other countries. “The southern shipping route opened under US pressure has hindered implementation of the agreement and has already created serious security risks, including the possibility of collision incidents. It is irresponsible to have ships shut down their navigation systems on that route,” he said. “The United States must make a choice: either comply with the agreement it signed 23 days ago, or completely back out of its promises. Iran is far stronger than you think, and it has prepared for war,” he added. (Source: Futu Niu Niu)
