This short position timed today’s execution to the rhythm. Once $FARTCOIN starts grinding people down at the high, I knew you can’t keep looking at this from a long-bias perspective. The price still looks rangebound on the surface, but every time it pushes up, it gets pushed back. This feeling is familiar—it’s the taste of distribution starting overhead.

I entered the short around 0.17378. Now the price is at 0.14893, and the profit is already +1017.9%. This wasn’t an emotion trade; I only moved after the structure truly weakened. Holding the short until now has played out with clear extension, and profit release has been pretty smooth.

The easiest mistake to make mid-way is to doubt the direction just because of a small rebound. A lot of people get washed out by that kind of pullback, and then when the main down-leg comes, they can only slap their forehead. If you still have the position open, don’t let the winning trade retrace too much. Do 80/20 in batches; for the remaining position, just let it follow the protection level.

After it drops, don’t blindly chase— the more frantic you are, the more likely you’ll end up buying into an awkward spot. If you didn’t catch it, wait for the next opportunity. A comfortable entry is always more important than an impulsive one.
