After Apple sued OpenAI, Musk lashed out at Altman for allegedly running a scam, and Altman hit back by sarcastically portraying him as someone who dangles enticing promises to shareholders.
According to Beating monitoring, after Apple sued OpenAI for stealing hardware secrets, Musk immediately turned it to his advantage, saying Sam Altman “has taken the scam to a new height.”
He also posted a meme showing Altman saying “I’m doing this because I love it,” mocking him as “possibly more passionate about scams than anyone else in the world.”
Altman shot back, saying that Musk is the one pitching stock market investors the story of “sending data centers to space in the short term.”
Musk responded that the relevant equipment would be launched next year, and mocked Altman: “If the parole officer approves it, you can come take a look.”
At the same time, Musk kept up his barrage, saying Altman first “stole an open-source AI public-benefit organization,” and now “stole all of Apple’s mobile phone technology,” and asked what he plans to steal next.
