The 2026 International Low-Altitude Economy Expo, themed “Harnessing the Low-Altitude Frontier to Start a New Chapter in the Economy,” will be held from July 22 to 25 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The exhibition will bring together four major core market entities at the venue: national teams of central state-owned enterprises (including state-owned enterprise groups), foreign-invested joint-venture companies, listed industry enterprises, and leading start-ups in the sector, fully showcasing an industrial landscape characterized by diverse co-existence and innovation-driven iteration. Central state-owned enterprises such as AVIC (Aviation Industry Corporation of China), China Aerospace, and China Post will present national-level low-altitude technology solutions; foreign companies including Siemens, Dassault, Epson, and Evonik will bring international cutting-edge avionics and aerospace materials technologies; listed enterprises such as EHang Smart and Guangzhou Aircraft will showcase commercialization and on-the-ground implementation achievements, while tech innovation companies such as Volant and Fenglian Aviation will debut and make their first live appearances with multiple eVTOL aircraft on site. The industry-chain supporting segment will achieve full coverage of key links. Hydrogen-energy and power-battery companies will demonstrate new routes for low-altitude power systems; domestic aviation enterprises will tackle breakthroughs in flight control, perception, and communication core technologies; carbon-fiber lightweight materials and 3D printing companies will close gaps in equipment-manufacturing materials, while domestic and foreign enterprises will coordinate to further improve the local supply chain. The public-facing “thousand-vehicle display and low-altitude top-100 applications flight performance” will also be launched in Shanghai, bringing together nearly 100 industry-grade aircraft and 1,000 formation drones to realistically present a range of application scenarios such as emergency response, aerial firefighting, and intercity transportation.
