This short position finally worked. The moment $ESPORTS was pushed down from the high, the market rhythm was no longer the same as before. Many people were still waiting for a rebound to add more, but what really caught my attention was that the price kept charging upward but couldn’t move past the upper area. As volume tightened, the price started to slide downward, hugging the key levels.

My short entry reference was at 0.04371. The current price is already at 0.01476, and my unrealized profit is +1304.1%. This move wasn’t based on guessing—it was a clean follow-through after heavy pressure at the highs. The trading range finally got released very decisively.

There were a few quick pullbacks in the middle that looked pretty scary, but none of them managed to reclaim the key areas. Put simply, the bulls started to hesitate, while the shorts’ momentum became smoother instead. For brothers with heavier positions, handling it in an 80/20 staged approach feels better: lock in most of the profits first, leave a little for possible extension, and don’t place the protection level too far away.

If you got to take a bite, take a bite. If you missed it, don’t force a chase. Chasing a short after the drop is easy to get stopped out by rebounds. Wait for the next opportunity—move only when the position is more comfortable.
