According to Bitcoin News, an independent miner using a single-chip Bitaxe ASIC miner with hashrate of about 1 TH/s successfully mined the Bitcoin block with height 957382, taking all the block rewards and transaction fees—3.1382 BTC in total (about $200k). At 1 TH/s hashrate, the average probability of mining a block is about once every 16 thousand years, an extremely rare event.
