OpenAI’s Chief Futurist Announces Resignation

OpenAI’s Chief Futurist, Joshua Achiam, posted on social media, saying he will leave the company this month, where he has worked for nearly nine years. The 34-year-old Achiam said that leaving has no specific reason, but is the result of long-term, well-considered thinking. Now that the world has already learned the “secret” of AI’s development potential, it seems that the same mission can be accomplished beyond the walls of top-tier frontier laboratories. He said he still firmly believes that humanity can move toward a future full of peace, unprecedented prosperity, and infinite social and scientific possibilities.
