Typhoon “Maysak”’s residual circulation has ended; Guangxi adjusts its flood and typhoon emergency response.

According to monitoring by the Guangxi Meteorological Bureau, the residual circulation of Typhoon Maysak, No. 10 this year, has ended in Guangxi. At 18:00 on July 9, the Guangxi Department of Natural Resources adjusted the geological disaster defense III-level emergency response to IV-level. At 13:00 on July 11, the Guangxi Hydrological Monitoring and Reporting Center adjusted the hydrological monitoring and reporting III-level emergency response to IV-level. Pursuant to provisions such as the Guangxi Flood Control and Drought Relief Emergency Plan, the Guangxi Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters decided that at 18:00 on July 11, the I-level emergency response for flood control and typhoon prevention (including geological hazards) targeting Nanning and Guigang will be adjusted to III-level; the II-level emergency response for flood control and typhoon prevention (including geological hazards) targeting Qinzhou and Yulin will be terminated; and the I-level emergency response for disaster relief in Guangxi will be maintained.
