This short position finally paid off, and the market action was pretty straightforward. When $BTC kept repeatedly topping out at the highs and couldn’t break, I felt something was off here—the push up had no buyers stepping in, but the pullback was getting smoother and smoother.

My short entry was based on 76861.4. Now the price is at 64331.1, with an unrealized gain of +2833.34%. What really caught my attention was the follow-through after that spike: on the surface it was still propping up, but in reality the active buying had already gone weak. A lot of people are still waiting for it to keep running up—I, on the other hand, focused more on the selloff once the upside couldn’t be held down.

This drop’s profit isn’t about guessing. After the rhythm changed, I followed it. Now that the market has released its room, for brothers with heavier positions I’ll lean toward an 80/20 staged approach—most of the profits will be locked in first, and the remaining portion will be kept with protection levels to see whether the move extends further. Don’t let the gains you already took slip back too much.

If you didn’t get in, don’t be in a hurry. Don’t chase after random entries on the rebound either—wait for the next, more comfortable level to act.
