Meiri discusses setting up a security management committee to push for Israel to withdraw from the “pilot zone”

Golden Finance reported on July 12 that, according to a report by Saudi Arabian Al Arabiya TV citing insiders, a U.S. delegation is holding discussions with Lebanon on setting up a special committee responsible for security and administrative matters. The delegation discussed the action plan for implementing Israel’s withdrawal from “pilot zones.” Lebanon had previously put forward conditions requiring Israel to withdraw from two pilot zones before Lebanon would take part in a mediation meeting to be held in Rome. It is understood that Lebanon has agreed to attend the Rome meeting, provided that a committee responsible for security and administrative matters is established. (Jinshi)
