Xizi Clean Energy announced that it expects net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company to be a loss of $45 million–$65 million in the first half of 2026, compared with a profit of $148 million in the same period last year. Net profit after deducting non-recurring gains and losses is expected to be a loss of $80 million–$110 million, compared with a profit of $129 million in the same period last year. Affected by policy adjustments to China’s new energy feed-in electricity tariff market-oriented reform and international geopolitical factors, in the first half of 2026 the company’s delivery of some orders and the execution progress of EPC turnkey project delivery solutions have slowed somewhat. As a result, operating revenue is expected to fall by about 10% year over year. The company’s investee, HEP Energy Environment Technology Co., Ltd., mainly engages in power peak-shaving ancillary services, flexible upgrades for thermal power generation, and wind power generation. Affected by adjustments to the power price market-oriented reform policy and the fact that the revenue from wind power projects that commenced grid operation in April 2026 did not meet expectations, HEP Energy saw a sharp decline in operating revenue in the first half of 2026 compared with prior years and its operating results turned to a loss.
