Iran’s and Oman’s foreign ministers met in Muscat and exchanged views on the Strait of Hormuz issue.

Golden Finance reports that on July 12, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Iran’s Foreign Minister Al Araghzi led a delegation of political and legal representatives on a visit to Muscat and held talks with Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi. During the meeting, Iran and Oman’s foreign ministers discussed bilateral relations between Iran and Oman in various fields and regional developments, especially the issue of the Strait of Hormuz. Al Araghzi and Al Busaidi also exchanged views on appropriate mechanisms under Article 5 of the Islamabad Memorandum to ensure the safe passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. (Jin Shi)
